Youth Summer Camp 2026: Experiencing God’s Grace Together

Our 2026 Church Youth Summer Camp has finally come to an end! As we look back on the past few days, our hearts are filled with gratitude. Although we experienced some unexpected changes and less-than-ideal weather, God faithfully provided and guided us throughout the entire journey. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, worship, laughter, and spiritual growth.

God’s Wonderful Provision

When we first booked our original campsite, the rental cost was slightly higher than our budget. We were considering how to make the necessary adjustments when, by God’s grace, we found a last-minute deal at another campsite.

After discussing it together, we agreed to switch to the new venue. Not only did we find a suitable place for our camp, but we were also able to save cost.

This reminded us once again that our plans are not always God’s plans. Sometimes, when one door seems difficult, God provides another opportunity that we did not expect.

We are thankful for His faithful provision and for the wisdom to make the right decision together.

Enjoying the Mountains in the Rain

The weather during our camp was not exactly perfect. We experienced some light rain, especially while spending time outdoors. But rather than letting the weather discourage us, we embraced the experience and enjoyed camping in the mountains together.

We went hiking, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, shared meals, and had a BBQ together. There were plenty of conversations, laughter, and memorable moments along the way.

Sometimes, a perfect weather forecast is not what makes a trip special.

What makes it memorable is the people we share it with, the opportunity to slow down, walk together, enjoy a meal, and experience God’s creation away from the busyness of everyday life.

Worshipping Together in a Peaceful Environment

One of the things we were especially thankful for this year was having a comfortable indoor space where we could worship, pray, and share God’s Word together. Compared with last year, we had much more freedom to gather indoors for worship and Bible sharing in a quiet and safe environment.

For our youth, summer camp is more than simply a getaway or a fun trip. It is also an opportunity to step away from the routines and distractions of everyday life, become still, and listen to God. During our worship and Bible sessions, we had opportunities to put aside our phones, schoolwork, work, and other daily concerns, and simply come before God.

These quiet moments may not always produce an immediate visible change, but we trust that God’s Word will continue to take root in the hearts and lives of our young people.

Thank You to Everyone Who Participated

We are deeply thankful to God for allowing this summer camp to take place, and we are grateful to every youth, volunteer, parent, and ministry team member who contributed to the camp. Some helped with transportation. Some prepared meals. Others organized activities, led worship, shared Bible messages, or quietly took care of many behind-the-scenes details.

Every contribution, no matter how small it seemed, was an important part of making this camp possible. This is what makes church community so special. Each person has a different role, and when we are willing to serve and support one another, we can grow together as a community filled with love and grace.
